On this day, September 11th, I reflect on the lives lost on that dreadful day. I am grateful for all the men and woman who have fought, continue to fight, and have died for our freedoms. I am sincerely thankful for their service and sacrifices. 
I am standing in the Franklin D. Roosevelt memorial in Washington, D.C. I love the etched stone words. I am grateful to be an American.The stone reads:
Freedom of speech
Freedom of worship
Freedom from want
Freedom from fear
