Green, brown, and cream bedroom- a model home

You gotta love custom bedding. But this one needs some ironing! Or from the get go they should have chosen a different fabric.

When choosing fabrics: Keep that in mind your lifestyle (pets and/or kids), wash-abilty with stains (my one daughter gets bloody noses sometimes), and how will it look daily-wrinkly or hang nicely!?

Oh and I am not crazy for the art work.

Yes, this window treatment is matchy matchy but pleasant! I like the green walls and brown curtains....It might even be good for sleeping with black out fabric!

A treehouse bedroom

While I was visiting family this summer we visiting a few model homes (a favorite past time). Check out this fun tree house bedroom.

The painted wall mural that makes this room amazing! This artist has incredible talent. It is truly a work of art....from the tree with the owl and raccoon poking out to the realistic painted bushes and trees. This artist paints with incredible shade and shadow...which gives it realistic depth and dimension.

Ok the loft bed is amazing too. The bedding ties in perfectly and doesn't distract from the wall mural. That is important in rooms with wall murals. Nice job!

Check out this window treatment. Holy moly they used raffia, leaves, the coordinating bedding fabric, and a stick. Wow the designer really tied it all together. I LOVE IT! I can see this room being a Tom Sawyer & Huck Finn theme room too.

Nice looking bunk beds with storage-Hard to find!

Are you looking for bunk beds with storage? I was looking last year for attractive white bunk beds for my girls. I found this one (but I didn't buy it-it's too big for my kids room). If I had the space, I would have purchased it. Oh well.

I like:

• The orientation of this bunk bed
• The rails on top
• The dresser underneath
• The cork board underneath the bed (you can make this look yourself and just copy the concept in your kids room)
• The ladder on the side

I purchased a white bunk bed floor model from RC Willey (Utah) in February (a slow furniture buying month). If it's on the floor and there aren't anymore in the back make them an offer and take it home in your truck. It worked for us-100's of dollars off. Happy furniture shopping.

As you can see my girls love it. And YES, I have lime green walls in my girls room. LOVE IT!
