I love to get mani and pedi's every summer. I haven't been to the day spa this summer but that hasn't stopped me from some fun at home pedicures. I feel naked with out my toes painted. Know what I mean?
So, I gave myself a new twist this week. I added glitter nail polish to my toes. Wahh laaa glitter toes. I posted this because my mom is in town and said you should put this idea on your blog....so here ya go. My version of salon glitter toes for less.

Another way to do glitter toes on your own, for pretty cheap! At Sally's Beauty Supply (or at least the one I go to) they have this stuff called Gelous (supposed be said 'Jealous'). You apply one coat of Gelous. Then add the glitter found at Sally's. Then apply at least two more coats of Gelous. If your toe nails feel scratchy as a result of the glitter simply buff it down a little.
ReplyDeleteThe Gelous is about $5, and they have some glitter containers that are only $0.99! So, you can have multiple, salon looking glitter toes for only about $6-$!!!

Love the glitter toes. I have never had a pedicure that went further that clipping my toenails. Thanks for the nail polish tips, I will have to try this with the girls!
